Each department plays a critical role in designing, building, and racing our BAJA SAE vehicles. Find where your passion fits.
Responsible for suspension kinematics, steering geometry, chassis stiffness, and tire data analysis. Utilizing CAD and Lotus Suspension Simulation to maximize grip, control, and obstacle compliance across rough terrain.
Designs and optimizes custom reduction gearboxes, continuously variable transmissions (CVT), half-shafts, and differential locks to ensure maximum torque transfer from engine to wheels.
Leads the eBAJA initiative with high-voltage battery management systems (BMS), motor controller tuning, real-time wireless telemetry, safety cut-offs, and motor cooling architecture.
Engineers dual-circuit hydraulic braking systems, custom rotor geometry, pedal box leverage ratios, and thermal dissipation channels to achieve instantaneous four-wheel lockup in technical scrutineering.
Designs the spaceframe tubular chassis ensuring strict BAJA SAE rulebook compliance, driver ergonomics, roll-over safety, and lightweight structural rigidity for ultimate pilot protection.
Performs Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural torsional stress simulations, topology optimization, and dynamic load testing to minimize mass while maximizing factor of safety.
Fabricates ultra-lightweight body panels, aerodynamic fairings, cockpit splash guards, and custom carbon fiber components utilizing precision vacuum-bagging and composite layup techniques.
Drives corporate sponsorship outreach, investor relations, partner acquisition, media campaigns, team presentation events, and official racing merchandise distribution.
Manages season budgeting, component procurement, Bill of Materials (BOM) auditing, manufacturing process cost optimization, and official BAJA SAE Cost Report presentations.
Creates vehicle livery graphics, race documentary video productions, social storytelling, and brand aesthetics to build a global community around Team Piranha Racing.
